On September 7, BYD released the August sales report.In August, BYD sold 36,009 vehicles, down 13.9% year-on-year.Cumulative sales from January to August were 295,066 units, down 2.8% year-on-year.Among them, the sales of new energy passenger vehicles in August was 16,100 units, down 22.8% year-on-year; the cumulative sales volume from January to August was 172,871 units, an increase of 56.7%.New energy commercial vehicles sold 619 units in August, down 37.7% year-on-year; cumulative sales from January to August were 6,068 units, up 16.8% year-on-year.The sales volume of fuel vehicles in August was 19,290 units, down 3.6% year-on-year; the cumulative sales volume from January to August was 116,127 units, down 38.3% year-on-year.
