Schaeffler plans to establish a wholly-owned company in Hunan Xiangjiang New District
On September 6, Schaeffler signed a cooperation framework agreement with the Hunan Xiangjiang New District Management Committee.According to the agreement, Schaeffler plans to establish a wholly-owned company in Xiangjiang New District, Hunan Province, to introduce the Space Drive wire-steering technology for intelligent driving into the new zone, and develop a Mover platform system and a 90-degree intelligent steering module that meet the requirements of future intelligent driving. Meet the needs of future unmanned different application scenarios.Space Drive's wire-steering technology is the only technology in the smart driving field that meets European standards and is the key technology for smart driving in the future.At the same time, Schaeffler plans to set up a new R&D center and intelligent driving vehicle research institute in Xiangjiang New District of Hunan Province as the second R&D center of Schaeffler in Greater China.
